Lagree Fitness is a full-body conditioning workout that addresses all five of these elements in every move of your workout. The variety of exercises and a high level of intensity means you get a more effective workout in less time.
Classes in a Lagree fitness studio usually last between 45-55 minutes and are a moderate to high-intensity workout.
The workouts are inspired by Pilates moves that focus on strength and endurance. It is not about lifting more weights or doing more reps, but on doing the exercise the proper way for longer.
The class sequence trains one muscle group to the point of exhaustion and then moves on to the next muscle group. Each exercise is performed for eight seconds with a four-second count in and then a four-second count-out.
You start with lower body exercises and then move on to the upper body. The core muscles are utilized throughout the entire class, during every exercise.
Lagree Meagformer machines are specifically built for the high-intensity, low-impact method. The machines are constructed to provide effective resistance and range of motion exercises.
Engineers spent two years developing the Megaformer. The machine measures 10’ long by 4’ wide. There is a rolling carriage between two platforms, one on each end. A system of springs and pulleys use your own body weight to create resistance, making it safe on your back and joints.
